Many classes benefit from the assistance of volunteers in reading, art or other curriculum areas. Parents are encouraged to assist if possible. Parents need to sign a volunteer register on each classroom visit. Also a volunteer’s agreement needs to be signed which is available from the office.
The tuckshop is always in need of volunteers. Volunteering in the tuckshop is a rewarding experience. You would be required to assist the convenor in preparing lunches. There is no money handling as food is prepared for the school classroom and nutrition program. So if you have an hour or two spare some days, please ask at the office for more information.
Parents do not require a working with children Blue card. Other community members will have to apply for a Blue card before they commence.
